We went to vemulawada for arjuna's thalaneelalu.naresh,Arjuna,Amma,daddy and me.loads of sunshine,good music,silly talk,lots of junk food.a four hour journey from Hyderabad with tea break.we started in the evening and reached there by night.we settled in a clean tiny room for 500 bucks.we fed a cow with rice,idles and vada.i saw cows and pigs that night on the streets.i am instantly attracted to animals and shopping.i love both.this place had both.went shopping for a saree,dint find a good one.later we went back to our room.everybody went into sleep except me.i dint get a good night's sleep though.woke up early and went to the place where they gave Arjuna his cute little alien look.he looks like a beautiful girl with those big eyes,little nose and a tiny mouth.somehow he is cuter with his "gundu".we visited the temple later.we need to walk the of with a rope around the temple.its considered auspicious.ox is considered Nandi in Hindu religion.then we had the darshanam of lord shiva.i prayed.no revelations about the prayers.grinning.whichever god I visit I bow to lord Ganesh and pray to him alone.i see him in every god.that I did.walking the ox was the best part,had instant crush on the big guy.Then we went back to our room.me and naresh visited the Goshaala.it was an awesome experience.beautiful.there were nearly 200 ox,calves and few cows.a big Goshaala with fans,clean water,hay and stuff.we fed few of them with bananas.a caretaker explained us about their feeding,care and other stuff. A calf was nibbling my arm through the cage.cows and oxen we're let loose in sheds.i caressed a few of them.i loved it completely.sheer bliss.happiness.peace.i would happily spend my life at the Goshaala or an animal shelter.possibility!my retirement plan or my plan for 50's.we went back to our room.i went back with a renewed sense of peace and enthusiasm and a renewed sense of purpose.we had lunch and we started our journey back to Hyderabad. We lost our way finding the outer ring road. We asked many people.finally we reached our place.i am definitely going back to the Goshaala.i want to spend a day there. I will be visiting the Goshaalas in hyderabad,afsalgunj soon.i love cows,oxen and calves right from my childhood.i fell in love with them again.i will be adopting a calf later in mylife.me and my dreams.i have big dreams in life.life is good.
when i was a kid about ten years old,i was studying in st.anns primary school.being a christian missionary school we would say a prayer about jesus christ.everybody would close their eyes and say the our father in heaven holy be your name prayer,it happened one day i opened my eyes and read this quote written on the wall,my obsession with quotes,words and inspiration.it goes like this"for god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son,that whosoever believeth in him shouldnot perish but have an everlasting life".i dint know the meaning back then.when everybody said the prayer and later laughed and talked.i kept reading the quite on the wall,trying to understand it.few years later when my english was way much better and my faith strong in god,i actually understood the meaning.
